INTRODUCTION TO OUR WORK AND MISSION
International Christian Care Foundation was founded in May 31st 2001 as a registered charity organisation to support black and ethnic minority community groups both locally nationally and internationally.
The Charity was established by Constitution and signed by the founding Executive Committee. It is registered with the Charity Commission No. 1086849. The charity addresses are:

Children and Young People Projects
The young people currently living in a local community environment, where their rich cultural heritage values are not acknowledged or understood, there is dominance in: Education& health services; Leisure; Religious beliefs; Foods and beverages; and many other areas.
Young African and Caribbean youth between the age groups of 6-13 & 14-30 are often isolated. This project will create opportunities for the black and minority ethnic local community groups especially from Africa/Caribbean to express them creatively and artistically in a supportive and non-threatening environment.
International Christian Care Foundation multi-cultural heritage project is hereby established with an aim to develop and promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of black and minority ethnic communities in the London borough of Barking and Dagenham to improve their quality of life by advocating equality of opportunity and outcome so as to maximize the potential of tomorrow's generation to society.
ICCF: Mission statement is:
To provide programmes and activities that are centred at personal development, improvement of the quality of lives, building of individual aspirations, raising motivational initiatives and self-esteem.
Our commitment is providing the best quality services we can to our beneficiaries, designed in partnership with them for them, in order to bring social-economic dignity or more precisely, BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.

The charity is established to relive poverty and distress particularly but not exclusively by the provision of free and confidential advice, assistance, representation, counselling, translating and interpreting services in matters such as immigration, debts, welfare benefits, health, housing, social security, education, training and employment.
To challenge disadvantage and discrimination, to promote youth activities through recreation. To protect and preserve public health. To motivate and guide our clients to develop their potential and improve skills to build confidence and self esteem.
To advance the education of young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities to improve their moral values that they may grow to full maturity as individuals.
To promote creativity and cultural life, to improve skills and knowledge of volunteers through capacity building.
To improve the communication dissemination and implementation of the outcome of research promoting the integration of health and social care and collaboration between different parts of health sector.

Aims
To initiate, organise, educate, train and promote diverse culture values among the black minority ethnic community groups in the UK, Africa and elsewhere, advance the use of information dissemination, improve communication, encourage and facilitate the most disadvantaged, vulnerable groups within the local communities in England and Wales, east central and southern Africa, aimed at adopting a positive approach which develops;
Involvement in discussions, partnership, networking relationship, cultural sensitivity, therefore raising higher expectations and building the confidence of the services users, regardless of gender, colour, creed, ethnic or cultural background, social status, disability, age or marital status. Providing the best quality services thereof, designed by with and for the beneficiaries, in order to bring social-economic dignity or more precisely, SUSTAINABLE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT.
