An
International Mandate of Support:
Did you know that the world
accommodated so many vulnerable people who are
bleeding from the inside out because of intense
poverty, famine and disease? Hundreds of thousands
of young children are being forced into conflict
soldiers by rebel insurgency in some of the most
dangerous regions of the world. State corruption is
allowed to continue; state inspired violence and
dictatorial tyranny is overlooked by most
governments. We support people in countries where
racial hatred and tribal conflicts are a way of
life, where HIV and AIDS are the biggest killers. We
seek to help wherever possible, providing shelter
and clean water, medication and guidance. The
International Christian Care Foundation has a global
mandate to support those living in extreme poverty
through the provision of education, training and
international aid support.
As a small organisation we are constantly looking to find creative, effective and efficient ways to work with greater lakes people, who are truly making positive change in lives of their neighbours and their communities.
Over the twelve years of our existence as Africans living in the Diaspora we have achieved substantial outcomes through various projects, such as distributing Humanitarian Relief Aid in Uganda and Southern Sudan.Work in Sudan on Hold
Our work in Sudan has so far been put on holt as we focus at seeking financial support for the establishment of a resource centre nearer to the main Air Port and sea in Uganda which will act as a distribution channel for relief /goods destined for other Greater Lake Region countries such as DRC Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and Southern Sudan. There is need for funding a post of a regional project co-ordinator who will be able to us proper accountability assess risks and monitor projects progress as well as giving us a summary of expenditure evolution report.
Our full report on our activities and aid relief work in Africa can be found on the PDF file, accessible from the link below. Please, if you are able, your support in whatever capacity would be most welcome.
