Building Self Esteem
We work on building young people's self esteem and
developing a positive identity regarding their own
beliefs. We offer a range of activities, workshops and
social events that encompass a holistic approach to
young people's health including their mental health.
Supporting Refugees
We explore the needs and aspirations of young refugees,
and identify many of the barriers that make it difficult
for young refugees’ resident in the London Borough of
Barking and Dagenham and beyond to fulfil their
aspirations.
Working with Children
We look at the world through the eyes of children, and never flinch from what we see. When society sticks labels on children, we seek to understand what is bottled up inside. Through that understanding we work with children to imagine, explore and identify the most effective ways to meet their needs.
Community Drop In Centre
The drop in provides a safe, informal place for young people to access during lunch and break times. Here young people can talk to staff, play games and use project facilities such as computers telephones and photocopy laminator etc. Often the most 'vulnerable' young people within school use the space provided as it offers them the opportunity to discuss issues of concern to them in an informal, friendly atmosphere while having fun..
Our
ObjectiveTo empower children and young people who are faced with various life challenges, including their immediate families, by providing them with unbiased and factual information, advice and guidance support, training to equip them with tools to develop social and interpersonal skills, knowledge and understanding how to be productive within society, as well as being pro-active in making individual informed choices.
We aim to provide and deliver high quality services, tailored to each individual's identified needs, offering access to opportunities for education through basic skills in order to increase a sense of community belonging, strengthening the desire to achieve individual goals.
